The project

Hello Plankton! makes this difficult-to-access topic accessible and fascinating for a broad audience. Through various formats and media, we reach all age groups – from elementary school children to interested adults.

The plankton portfolio currently includes:
Hello Plankton! – The Book
Hello Plankton! – The exhibition
Hello Plankton! – The Podcast

The plankton portfolio currently comprises five modules.

Picturesque, nature-inspired illustrations offer a sensory approach to fact-based content and form the aesthetic framework of the project.

Engaging texts convey interesting and inspiring information. The relevance of the topic is always considered from the audience's perspective and surprises with obvious connections to this previously unknown world.

Experiments invite you to make your own discoveries and to step into the role of a researcher.

Current projects by leading scientists offer a glimpse into their laboratories. What mysteries is plankton research trying to solve?

Playful and creative activities invite even the youngest children to participate and offer low-threshold opportunities for conversation.

Happy planktonicing!

The information panels are lightweight, easy to assemble, and flexible in their placement. This allows for the design of different spaces. (If necessary, the feet can be weighted down with sandbags.)
